“I love my school. I love my vice principal. You don’t always know the questions you need to ask, but there are always people around who can help with something.”
—Stephanie Black, CET 2017-2020

- Model U.N. and other competitions.
- Green-ribbon ceremonies (Stužková slávnosť).
- School-leaving exams (Maturita).
- Local and international church and social communities.
- CET WhatsApp group chat and get-togethers multiple times a year.
- Volunteer opportunities and school projects.
- Collections for Ukrainian refugees.
- Ukrainian community center serving 150-plus families weekly (Martin, Slovakia).
The Central Europe Teachers program has existed for over 30 years, and most teachers stay at least two years. Partner schools are located in Bratislava, Košice, Martin, Prešov, Liptovský Mikuláš and Tisovec, all in Slovakia. We also maintain relationships with former sites: Cieszyn, Poland and Rimavská Sobota, Slovakia.
