Central Europe Teachers

What is Central Europe Teachers?

Central Europe Teachers (CET), a small unique program of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), brings native speakers of English to teach English in Lutheran (high) schools in Slovakia. Sites include Bratislava, Košice, Martin, Prešov, Liptovský Mikuláš and Tisovec. We also maintain relationships with former sites: Cieszyn, Poland and Rimavská Sobota, Slovakia. The program began in 1993, the year Czechia and Slovakia separated.
