The Office of the Treasurer of the ELCA manages business affairs, proposes financial policy for review and action by the ELCA Church Council, provides for implementation of those financial, accounting, banking, investment and money management policies, provides information technology and building management services for the churchwide organization. The staff also provide synods and congregations with tools and resources to facilitate their operations.
