Faith Practices & Neighboring Practices, Minneapolis Area Synod: Assistant for Administration and Communications

The Assistant for Administration & Communication will support the Director of Faith Practices & Neighboring Practices in administrative and communication tasks related to the program’s learning community.  

  1. Coordinate and oversee event scheduling and logistics under the direction of the Director of Faith Practices & Neighboring Practices
  2. Attend Faith Practices & Neighboring Practices events. 
  3. Maintain calendar for Faith Practices & Neighboring Practices program 
  4. Submit payment requests and reimbursements related to Faith Practices & Neighboring Practices program 
  5. Coordinate and manage communication strategies and content related to Faith Practices & Neighboring Practices including registrations, event reminders, monthly meeting updates 
  6. Assist congregational leaders in developing communication strategies and content for newsletters and other congregational communications related to Faith Practices & Neighboring Practices   
  7. Support development and implementation of social media campaigns related to Faith Practices & Neighboring Practices   
  8. Record, edit, and distribute video projects related to congregations participating in Faith Practices & Neighboring Practices 
  9. Work with the Director of Communications and Public Voice to enhance the connection between congregations and the Minneapolis Area Synod
