Content & Community Fellow serves through a grant of the ELCA Young Adult Vocational Fellowship and is the direct hire of All Places Together (APT) and the Virginia Synod. Their responsibilities center on creating content for APT and its outreach ministry, Mother Hen Media Ministries, as well as building community across the communities of APT.
Major Ministry Responsibilities
Digital Content Creation:
- Create and edit content for Mother Hen Media Ministries
Monthly graphic content for subscribers
- Promotional content for Mother Hen
- Contextual content for clients (short form video, podcasts, graphics)
Graphic and video content for APT public and private social networks
- Podcast (development, interviews, co-host)
Community Building:Work with Innovation Lab to create a space for APT in virtual reality
- Build relationships online with APT community
- Host events in virtual reality and on Zoom
- Help with online worship
- Build relationships with other digital and hybrid communities
- Market Mother Hen Media Ministries
- Build relationships with partner congregations
- Other duties as developed
