4-Day Community Organizing Training

The OFMN Community Organizing Training cohort consists of 4 days of training followed by a 90-day plan with accompaniment from one of OFMN's organizers. Part 2 of this training cohort meets in the Spring in the same format. The cohort runs November-July annually.
OFMN is partnering with Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary to offer at 15-week continuing education course.
Community Organizing for Climate Justice as Faith Active in Love
This three-part training in the arts of faith-rooted community organizing for climate justice will equip participants with skills, knowledge, spiritual grounding, and a community of support for organizing to address the climate crisis in ways that build racial and economic equity. A 3-day training session in Berkeley, CA is followed by a mentored 12–week practice phase and a second 2-day session online. The mentored section includes regular (weekly or bi-weekly cohort gatherings for support and building a network of on-going support).
