Five Gifts of Discipleship

When a baptized Christian affirms the faith, the presiding minister asks the question: Do you intend to continue in the covenant God made with you in holy baptism? (See box on right.) Our five-fold responses are actually five gifts from God—Spirit-filled gifts given to guide our walk in the newness of life in Christ.
