Call Process

Welcome to Call Process Online. This web site supports the work of Call Process in the ELCA, assisting the ELCA’s 65 synodical bishops as they engage their congregations, church-related organizations, rostered ministers and candidates for rostered ministry in a time of thoughtful assessment and prayerful discernment about their work together in ministry and mission. Each bishop is responsible for the way Call Process is managed within their respective territory.

This web site brings together the various forms used within Call Process and links them to a churchwide database – the Mobility Database System (MDS). The MDS allows information from the Call Process forms to be summarized, searched and shared quickly and effectively, greatly enhancing the church’s ability to engage in the common work of Call Process.
